Most ad budgets buy the wrong phone calls

We rebuild Google Ads accounts around the jobs worth having, then cut the spend going everywhere else. Search, Display and Local Service Ads, with call tracking that ties each booked job back to the keyword that produced it.

How it works

Three steps from leaking budget to tracked jobs

We rebuild the account around the jobs worth having, launch it with tracking that reaches the booked job, and then prune — every week.

1

Research & structure

We split your keyword research by job type, reverse-engineer the competitor accounts already winning those searches, and build separate campaigns so a $200 service call never shares a budget with a $20,000 install. The setup fee is paid here, before launch.

Week 1
2

Build & launch

Ad groups, copy and extensions, deep negative keyword lists, Local Service Ads inside the same account, and one to three landing pages for the clicks to land on. Conversion and call tracking are wired to real bookings before the first dollar is spent.

Week 2
3

Prune & prove

Negatives pruned weekly, bids and budgets managed monthly, ad copy iterated on what converts, junk Local Service leads disputed. Pulse shows cost per lead by campaign, so you can see which keyword produced which job.

Ongoing
Pulse — your dashboard

You'll always know what's working.

Every client gets Pulse, our simple reporting dashboard. One login, plain numbers, no spreadsheets to decode. Open it whenever you're curious — or don't, and we'll walk you through it on a call.

  • One page says it all. Leads, calls, traffic and rankings, compared to last month.
  • Always current. Pulls straight from Google, Meta and your site — nothing typed in by hand.
  • Zero homework. No reports to read, no logins to juggle. Check in when you want to.

Pricing

Google Ads pricing, published

Setup is paid before launch and is non-negotiable — it's where the result is made. Management is month to month with 30 days' notice. Ad spend is paid directly to Google. Local Service Ads are part of the same engagement at no extra fee — they run inside your Google Ads account alongside Search and Display, and we manage them together because that is how the budget actually behaves.

Why inherited ad accounts leak money

Marketing degree from ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business. My first job in marketing was a BMX freestyle sponsorship — most of my school years were spent as a sponsored rider, and working the product and promotional side of that is what got me hooked on helping business owners. 15+ years in marketing since.

Nearly every account we take over has one campaign, one ad group, and a keyword list that treats a $200 service call and a $20,000 install as the same search. They are not the same search, and they should never share a budget.

Because they do, the cheap search wins. It has higher volume and a lower cost per click, so the algorithm feeds it. You end up with a phone that rings constantly and a crew doing low-margin work.

The fix is structural, not clever

Separate campaigns per job type, so you can bid what each job is actually worth instead of averaging across all of them.

Negative keyword lists that run deep, built at launch and pruned weekly. This is unglamorous and it is where a large share of the savings comes from.

Conversion tracking wired to real bookings, not form views. If you can't tell which keyword produced a job, every optimization after that is a guess.

Why the pricing is shaped this way

The setup is where the result is made: keyword research split by job type, reverse-engineering the competitor accounts already winning those searches, audience segments, ad groups, the storytelling the ads run on, conversion tracking and the one to three landing pages the clicks land on. Ongoing management is steady, but it is maintaining a machine that is already built. So we charge $1,249 once, upfront, before launch, then a management fee that steps down as spend grows — 15% at $3,000–$5,000 a month, 12.5% from $5,001 to $15,000, and 12.5% again from $15,001 to $25,000 with a $2,475 monthly minimum, starting from a $749 monthly minimum — rather than pretending a fat monthly retainer is being earned every month. We've run this model with four other clients and it holds up.

Ad spend goes directly to Google, not to us. Most local clients run between $3,000 and $5,000 a month; below $3,000 the data comes in too slowly to optimize against.

Deliverables

What setup and management cover

  • Account access, conversion tracking, call tracking and Pulse setup
  • Keyword research split by job type and service area
  • Campaign build: Search, Display and Local Service Ads, managed as one account
  • Negative keyword lists, built at launch and pruned weekly
  • Ad copy and extensions, iterated on what converts
  • Local Service Ads: Google Guaranteed screening, profile setup, weekly budget pacing and disputing junk leads
  • Monthly bid and budget management
One to three landing pages are built into the setup fee. How many depends on how the campaigns split — one page per job type that needs its own message. Beyond three, additional pages are quoted separately.
Local Service Ads are part of Google Ads here, not a separate product. LSAs sit at the very top of the results page and charge per lead rather than per click, so they compete with your Search campaigns for the same job. Splitting them across two vendors or two invoices is how budgets get double-spent on the same phone call. We run them in one account, on one budget, reported in one Pulse view. LSA leads are billed to you by Google directly, the same as ad spend.
Creative costs sit outside this scope. If ads need new assets produced, that's quoted separately so you can see what you're buying.

We've had a great experience working with Weslo Digital. They took the time to really listen to our needs and understand where we wanted to take Arctic Air before creating a custom strategy. Instead of pushing a one-size-fits-all marketing plan, they worked with us to create a custom plan that fits our business needs and budget. Their team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us grow.

Highly recommend Brandon and the Weslo Digital team. I run a print company, and Brandon was originally referred to me to order some merch for his business. At the time, I was actually looking for a new marketing team, but Brandon had no idea… Because our business is a little more complex than most, I needed to know he really understood what we do, who our customers are, and what we're trying to accomplish. To me, that's the most important thing a marketing team can do. AI can write emails, create ads, and generate marketing content, but it can't build a personal connection.

FAQ

Fair questions

How much should I budget for ads?
Most local clients land between $3,000 and $5,000 a month in spend. Below $3,000 the data comes in too slowly to optimize against. We'll suggest a starting point based on your service area and average job value.
Why is the setup fee non-negotiable?
Because it's the part that determines whether the account performs — the research, the account structure, the tracking and the landing pages. Discounting it would mean doing less of it, which would cost you more than the discount saved.
Can you pause in a slow season?
Yes. We pull budget back rather than spending for the sake of it, and management drops to the $749 monthly minimum.
Who owns the Google Ads account?
You do. It's in your name with your billing and we're added as a manager. If you leave, you keep the account, the history and the conversion data.
What if my website isn't good enough to send traffic to?
We'll say so in the teardown. A single landing page built for the campaign runs $297 and usually pays for itself in the first month of better conversion.
What should my marketing budget be?
The benchmark is a share of annual revenue, set by your category and how fast you want to grow — roughly 5–8% for a home service business holding steady, 12–20% for one scaling hard, and higher for e-commerce. Competition in your market decides where in that band you land. Our marketing budget calculator gives you a monthly figure in about ten seconds, free and with nothing to fill in.
